Heather Rosenstiel

Heather Rosenstiel is a clinical psychologist with extensive experience in conflict and stress management.

Of Canadian origin, she completed her university studies in Educational and Developmental Psychology at McMaster and Brock Universities, Ontario, Canada. After working in the field of medical and surgical research and development (IRCAD-EITS), she specialized in Clinical Psychology, Psychopathology and Psychoanalysis at the University of Strasbourg,  France.  Her theoretical orientation has been strongly influenced by her dual training in psychoanalysis and cognitive-behavioural therapies giving her an array in which to propose the best-suited approach for each client.

Heather has an established private practice in Strasbourg and works with a variety of BelEsprit clients on a one-to-one and group basis. As a bilingual, native English speaker, consultations are available in both English and French. 

In parallel to her private practice, she participates in many conferences, congresses and seminars in the fields of psychoanalysis, short-term therapy, psycho-oncology and clinical hypnosis. In addition, she dedicates a part of her activity to social and humanitarian associations. 

Dr. Heather Rosenstiel is recognized by the Director of Social and Health Affairs  (DDAS) and is registered in the French National Directory of Health Professionals, under the number ADELI 67 93 0578 9.
